MINNEAPOLIS — Former Minnesota State-Mankato football coach Todd Hoffner is about to clear up the uncertainty over whether he will return to his old job.

The school fired Hoffner last May without publicly disclosing the reasons. The dismissal came after Hoffner had been accused, and then cleared, of having pornographic images of his own children on his work-issue cellphone.
