The Austin girls track and field team finished third at the Mankato West triangular Tuesday.

Austin freshman Amber Hansen had personal best throws in the shot put by over a foot and in the discus by nine inches. She took second in both events.

Paiton Schwab took first in the 800-meter run and the 1600-meter run, Madison Overby won the 3200-meter run and Rachel Quandt won the 100-meter hurdles.
