Ray and Ruth Freund celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on May 9, 1964 at Litomystl, Minn. They are parents to seven children: Roseann (Ron) DeVries, Randy (Laura), Rick (Tracy), Ron (Linda), Roger (Debbie), Roy (Denise) and Ryan Freund.

They have 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The couple enjoyed their celebration on May 10, 2014 at Chauncy Apartments in Austin, Minn.
