A local church is about to offer Riverland Students break away from distractions to study for finals.

St. John’s Lutheran Church will host a study session for finals week next Thursday from 4 to 11 p.m., at the church, 1200 13th Ave. NW.

There will be pizza, snacks, soda, free WI-FI and a quiet place to study. No sign-up is required, and students can just show up.

The event is sponsored by Riverland’s Righteous Invasions of Truth-Christian Fellowship, also known as RIOT.
