Strides for a Cure race is Saturday

Austin High School students are ready to run to support The Hormel Institute’s breast cancer research.
AHS’s Youth Leadership is hosting their fourth annual Strides for a Cure Run/Walk Saturday. All proceeds are donated to The Hormel Institute for Breast Cancer Research.
Organizers will add a five-mile race in addition to the 5K and kids race. The race kickoff is at 8:40 a.m., the race begins at 9 a.m., and the kids’ race is at 10:30 a.m.
Registration will be available at Todd Park the morning of the race. Registration fees range from $15-$35.
This event is for all ages. Participants can either run or walk in the race. There will also be a prize drawing at the conclusion of the race. For more information, go to www.stridesforacurerace.wordpress.com.
