Adams Dairy Days set for this weekend

The Adams Dairy Days is back once again this weekend to offer family fun to area residents.

Things kick off Friday with a city wide rummage sale. The dodge ball tournament starts at 4 p.m. at Southland High School, followed by the adult bean bag tournament at 6 p.m. behind the American Legion. The night wraps up with an outdoor showing of “Despicable Me 2” at 9.p.m. at Denny’s Car Wash.

Many events are scheduled on Saturday, June 7, from the Lions Pancake Breakfast at 8 a.m. to the big cup golf tournament at 9:30 a.m. The annual 5K run/walk starts at 9 a.m., with registration at 8:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic School. The day wraps up with a street dance featuring Next to Nothing starting at 8:30 p.m. on Commerce Street.

Dairy Days wraps up on Sunday. The annual Grand Parade starts at 1 p.m. and this year’s Grand Marshals are Donald and Norma Larson. The Dairy Days Prince and Princess Coronation takes place at noon at Southland High School. The ice cream eating contest starts at 7 p.m. and the annual milking contest takes place at 8 p.m.
