John and Ginny (Virginia) Peterson are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 20, 1964, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Minneapolis.

They are parents to four children: Jeff Peterson, Kristi (Stacey) Rupe, Lyn (Steve) Rogne and Michelle (Eric) Johnson and have eight grandchildren: Amanda, Kylea, Sydney, Isaac, Ashlyn, Leyton, Caden and Ava.

They will be celebrating by taking a trip up to northern Minnesota with their children and grandchildren in August.
