The Freeborn-Mower County Chapter of the American Red Cross would like to thank all blood donors who helped make the June, 2014 Austin Community blood drive a success. A total of 220 units were collected during the 3-day draw! Congratulations to several donors who received milestone pins, and to all first-time donors!

A special thanks to the VFW and many volunteers for their help with set-up and tear-down. Also, thanks to the following businesses for their contributions and support: St. Edward’s Church and Corcoran Center, Sue Viehauser, Culligan Water Conditioning, Hy-Vee Food Store, Jim’s Marketplace Foods, Austin Daily Herald, Rochester Post Bulletin, and KAUS Radio.
