ST. PAUL — More than 1,000 people have lined up in St. Paul to meet former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and buy a copy of her book.

A Minneapolis Star Tribune report said 1,100 people bought advanced copies of Clinton’s latest book, “Hard Choices.” They waited in a line Sunday that stretched out the door of Common Good Books and down the block, in temperatures that reached 85 degrees.

Clinton arrived right on time at 2 p.m. and began signing books within three minutes. She promised to sign all 1,100 copies during the two-hour event, which would give her about 6½ seconds per book.
