The Austin Post 91 baseball team had its season come to an end after it lost 5-2 to the Rochester Redhawks in the First District Finals in Winona Sunday.

Post 91 would’ve had to have beaten Redhawks twice to get to the state tournament as it lost 10-1 to Rochetster on Saturday and beat Winona 21-9 Saturday.

“The Redhawks are a solid team and were playing very good baseball,” Austin co-head coach Andy Swank said. “The guys battled all week and left nothing on the field. It was a great way to finish a fantastic season. Coach Kroc and I couldn’t be more proud of what the guys accomplished this summer.”

Jordan Hart finished his season with a bang for Post 91 as he had a homer in the loss to Rochester Saturday and he had two homers, two triples, a double and 10 RBIs in the win over Winona.
