Settle in for a relaxing weekend filled with a one man band, a theatrical performance, dreaming and some fun outside activities.

1. One Man Band

12 to 1 p.m., Friday, Mower County Senior Center

Enjoy a salad luncheon with One Man Band Gary Froiland. Eat chicken salad over shoestrings with a scone, accompanied by the fun and entertaining Gary Froiland, a musician who plays the five-string banjo, guitar, bass, harmonica, dobro and fiddle. 2. God of Carnage

7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, Frank W. Bridges Theatre, Riverland Community College

A playground altercation between 11-year-old boys brings together two sets of parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses and the rum flows, tensions emerge, leaving the couples with more than just their principles in tatters. 3. Spruce Up Austin’s Yard & Garden Tour

1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Austin,

This is a self-guided tour of privately-owned yards and gardens in Austin. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 the day of the event. Tickets are available at Berg’s Nursery, Dolan’s Landscape Center, Hardy Geranium and Super Fresh Garden Center. For more information, call 507-437-0855.
