Crazy Days is back, and Austin is ready.

“Crazy Days in downtown Austin is a long standing tradition,” Austin Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sandy Forstner said.

Main Street will be blocked off from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. between First and Fourth Avenues on Thursday while downtown businesses host sidewalk sales. Some businesses outside downtown will also set up stands. Forstner said he is glad outside businesses join the sales.

“It’s nice that businesses from other sectors come down and join the downtown event, to give more choices and showcases other businesses [around town],” Forstner said.
