Landlord Association donates to scholarship fund

The Austin Area Landlord Association recently donated $300 to the Austin Community Scholarship Committee.

The Austin Community Scholarship Committee has provided financial assistance to Austin area college students entering their junior and senior year of college or post graduate study for more than 50 years.
Recently, the committee awarded grants totaling $38,000 to 20 students for the 2014-2015 school year. Since its inception, more than $650,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 659 students.
Most of this financial help for the scholarships comes from contributions of local individuals and foundations.
