The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning area residents about construction on Highway 56 between LeRoy and west of Adams.

Workers will seal bridge deck cracks and joints this week, according to MnDOT. Motorists should be alert to workers and use slower speeds when approaching the zones where workers are present.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work and emergency zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
