Fay Lee Enfield, 49, died on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.
Fay was born in Spring Valley, Minnesota, on March 13, 1965, to Junior Lee and Darlene Fay (Sanow) Conner. She attended school and graduated from Austin High School in 1983. Fay was a cheerleader for the wrestling team and she loved roller skating. After high school, she attended Riverland Community College while studying banking. During this time, she worked as a waitress to pay for her education. She enjoyed the fast pace work of being a waitress. She worked at Lansing Corners and other local establishments. Fay did work at Sterling Bank for a short stint, but ended up back to her calling: waitressing.
Fay enjoyed listening to music, singing and cross-stitching.
Fay is survived by her significant other, Brian Dodd of Austin; a son, Tom Enfield II of Austin; a daughter, Ashley Enfield of Austin; her parents Junior and Darlene Conner of Austin; siblings, Bruce (Dianna) Conner of Austin, Barb (John) Parmenter of Austin, Dean (Wendy) Conner of Austin, Gene Conner of Austin, Betty (Daryl) Griese of Austin, Rick (Lori) Conner of Bloomington, Debora Conner and significant other Don of Austin, Penny Conner and significant other Dave of Sargeant, Bonnie (John) Morrison of Humboldt, Iowa; along with several nieces nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Fay is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a sister-in-law, Linda Conner.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at Mayer Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 10 a.m.
