Don’t be surprised to hear more people saying “You betcha” this weekend.

More than 150 people from around the U.S. will be in Austin for the Hallinlag Convention, which celebrates Norwegian heritage and customs.

The convention, which runs Aug. 21-24, will also feature tours around the Austin area and visits to St. Ansgar, Red Oak Grove and Blooming Prairie. Groups will also look at local churches founded by early immigrants.
