Next Thursday will be a busy one at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center.
Singer and songwriter Tom Pease will offer a free show on Thursday at the Hormel Nature Center.
At 9:30 a.m., Pease will perform for seniors, and will have a repeat show at 1:30 p.m. for family and children.
Pease uses movement, sign language, humor and joy, to create concerts that leave audiences laughing and singing.
The nature center requests interested attendees to RSVP by Wednesday.
At 10:30 a.m., there will be a senior access vehicle tour. Larry Dolphin and Maria Anderson will lead the event and catch, tag, record, and release Monarch butterflies for their migration to Mexico.
The last nature play of the summer will also be held from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be free canoe rentals, netting butterflies, geocaching and self-guided natural trail activities.
