The Grand Meadow football team opened its season with a convincing 69-14 win at LeRoy-Ostrander (0-2 overall, 0-2 SEC) Friday.
The Superlarks (1-0 overall, 1-0 SEC) led 47-0 at the half and they didn’t have to play a starter in the second half.
“We played well and we included a lot of people early,” GM head coach Gary Sloan said. “I was happy.”
The game was delayed nearly two hours due to weather.
The Superlarks racked up 352 yards on the ground in the win as they held the Cardinals to 171 yards of offense.
