Lyle Public Schools and Pacelli Catholic Schools are taking it home this week.

Lyle/Pacelli’s Homecoming Week starts Monday with a volleyball game at 7 p.m. inside Pacelli Gym. A pep fest for Pacelli is taking place at 2 p.m. Wednesday inside Pacelli Gym as well. Pacelli’s homecoming coronation will take place at 7:30 p.m. inside Pacelli Auditorium.

An all-school spirit day will take place on Friday. Middle school and high school students will go to Lyle for float decorating, lunch, powderpuff football, kickball, a pep fest and a parade, while the cross-country team will relay run the football to Lyle.

The week will culminate with Lyle/Pacelli’s homecoming game against the Randolph Rockets at 7 p.m. in Lyle, followed by a high school dance that will take place until midnight.

A fan bus for the game will arrive at 6 p.m. Friday at Pacelli and return when the game is over. Only middle school and high school kids can ride without parents, and elementary families can ride at no charge.
