The Blooming Prairie volleyball team lost its Gopher Conference finale 25-17, 25-13, 25-19 at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (21-5 overall) Thursday.

Taylor Hagen had 12 kills and eight blocks for BP (15-12 overall, 4-2 Gopher) and it finishes in third place in the conference.

“WEM has a good team and they played a fast paced game tonight,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “We simply didn’t pace up. We were behind on the floor defensively and we failed to put up a strong enough block at the net.”
