Hagen gets 1,000th kill as Blossoms sweep Maple River

Blooming Prairie senior Taylor Hagen notched her 1,000th career kill as the Awesome Blossoms swept Maple River 25-10, 25-15, 25-9 in BP Thursday.
Hagen finished with 13 kills and nine blocks in the win for BP (14-11 overall, 3-1 Gopher). Hagen needed 12 kills to get to 1,000 going into the match. The 1,000th kill came off of a dig from Nicole Inwards, who has more than 1,500 career digs, and a set assist from Madison Worke, who has more than 2,000 career set assists.
“Taylor just ripped on it and it was so fitting for these girls,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “They truly compliment one another.”
