Brenda Flagg

Brenda Flagg

Brenda K. (Wilde) Flagg, 53, of Clarkston, Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born in Austin, Minnesota, on March 27, 1961, to William (Bill) Wilde, Sr. and Marjorie (Miller) Wilde. She graduated from Austin High School and attended Austin Vocational and Technical College for medical secretary. She enlisted in the Army Reserves where she met the love of her life. Del and Brenda were united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1980, in Ephrata, Washington.

She proudly spent 13 years serving her country in the Army Reserves. Her and her husband had two beautiful children together, DJ Flagg and Amanda (Flagg) Santiago. She was a 28-year resident of Lewiston, Idaho, in which her and her husband were business owners of USA Home Center for 15 years. They decided to move to Clarkston, Washington, this past year to a beautiful home which she cherished and was proud to show people who visited. She would often start her mornings out on her front porch sipping her coffee and taking in the view. Here in the Lewis-Clark valley is where she started her business, Flagg Agency. She took pride in her business and enjoyed helping all her clients.

She loved her family with her whole heart. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and it showed whenever she would talk about them to anyone. She loved traveling with her husband and would visit her family in Minnesota as much as she could. Her most recent trip in September with her family was to Las Vegas. Her wish was for them to have fun and make lasting memories.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Del Flagg of Clarkston, Washington; a son, DJ (Whitney) Flagg of Clarkston, Washington; a daughter, Amanda (Danny) Santiago of Lewiston, Idaho; mother-in-law, Fay Flagg of Moses Lake, Washington; brothers and sisters: Gary (Marsha) Wilde, Bruce Wilde, LuAnn Wilde-Jensen, Bill (Teresa) Wilde, Becky (Craig) Delhanty all of Austin, Minnesota, and Kelly (Mike) Pryor of Hollandale, Minnesota; brother-in-laws: Darwin (Marisha) Flagg of Hopkins, South Carolina, and Dennis (Janice) Flagg of Kent, Washington; sister-in-law, Deanna LaVoie, Moses Lake Washinton; grandchildren: Caitlin Stephens-Flagg, Bronson Flagg, Zachary Flagg-Santiago, Braden Flagg, Tyler Santiago, Jocelynn Flagg and Abigail Santiago; and many nieces and nephews.
