Business After Hours held at Plunkett office

The November Austin Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours social was held on Nov. 11, at the Plunkett Law Office at 107 W. Oakland Ave. in Austin.
It was hosted by Peter D. Plunkett and sponsored by the Plunkett Law Office and The Elam House. Sixty-six members of the Austin Chamber of Commerce participated.
All veterans in attendance were recognized. This included Peter’s father Warren F. Plunkett, a retired district judge who served in the Navy during World War II; Marty Fox a retired Hormel executive, who served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis; and John Gray from the Hormel Foundation, who served in Vietnam.
A drawing was held for a complementary overnight ($250 value) at The Elam House, which was won by Lisa Dunlop of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Peter’s sisters Dianne Plunkett Latham and Lynda Plunkett-Wright, as well as family friends Joann, Marty and Jayne Fox also assisted with serving the event.
