The Southland boys basketball team lost 71-56 at Kingsland (1-1 overall, 1-1 Three Rivers) Tuesday.

The Rebels (0-2 overall, 0-2 Three Rivers) struggled in the first half as they fell behind by 15 at the break.

“We played hard in the first half and we got in some foul trouble. That’s where they built there lead,” Southland head coach Matt Webber said.

Chris Webber had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for Southland.
