The Packers made a charge against No. 6 ranked Red Wing, but it wasn’t enough as they fell 7-3 to the Wingers (7-2 overall, 5-0 Big Nine) in Riverside Arena Thursday.

Chloe Summerfield scored a goal at the end of the second period and she netted another goal early in the third period to make it a 4-3 game, but the Wingers stormed back in the third to add three more goals.

Myia Houim scored a first period goal to put the Packers (5-4-2 overall, 2-3-2 Big Nine) up 1-0 early on.
