Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team beats Randolph as Holtz scores 22

The No. 5 ranked Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team opened strong and it beat Randolph (1-1 overall, 1-1 SEC) 65-36 in Pacelli Gym Tuesday.
Sarah Holtz had 22 points for the Athletics (2-0 overall, 2-0 SEC) and Madison Truckenmiller added 17 points. LP jumped out to a 24-5 lead to start the game.
“We really dictated the pace and tempo early on and we got some transition buckets,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “I’m proud of the way the kids came out and played.”
