Mia Carruth, a sophomore guard for the Riverland Community College women’s basketball team was named Southern Division Player of the Week.

Carruth, who is from St. Paul, Minn., led the Blue Devils to a 3-0 week, averaging 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Carruth made 42 percent of her field goals and 36 percent of her 3-pointers.
