Rebel girls start strong in win over St. Charles

The Southland girls basketball team started fast as it beat St. Charles (0-4 overall, 0-3 Three Rivers) as it won 67-58 in Adams Friday.
Katlin Webber and Sydney Bendtsen each scored 20 points for the Rebels (3-2 overall, 2-2 Three Rivers), who led by as many as 25 points early on.
“We came out on fire and we played really well at one point in the first half,” Southland head coach Russ Foster said. “I thought we kind of let off a little and got a little impatient.”
