If you follow the folklore, then you know that if the ground hog sees its shadow on Feb. 2 then we will have winter weather for six more weeks.

We are all getting anxious for the sunny days to come when we can “burrow” out and start making plans for some fun travel.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 27, we will once again host our yearly Minnesota Coffee Party and Travel Show. This is open to the public with goodies, hot beverages, door prizes, and good conversation. A calendar of travel for 2015 will be available.

Included will be: one day ethnic and historic trips, dinner shows, riverboat cruises and a mystery trip, to highlight a few.

We are excited to offer the fall trip to the New England states area, voted as one of the top extended motor coach trips that we’ve hosted before. A complete schedule is now available.

Currently we are open only limited hours at the senior center, but we can be reached by phone at 507-433-9391 or 507-438-3946.
