The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Rochester Lourdes (13-10 overall, 10-5 HVL) 65-52 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (17-7 overall, 11-4 HVL) led 65-34, but they didn’t score in the last seven minutes as they pulled most of their starters from the game.

“It was a nice win for us,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said. “We definitely were in command throughout.”
