Motorist dies in I-35 collision near Owatonna

OWATONNA — A motorist died in a head-on crash on Interstate 35 Saturday afternoon in Owatonna, Minn., the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The victim’s name and other information will be released Sunday, the State Patrol said.
A 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by 55-year-old Eric Lehrer was heading north when crossed the median about 1:42 p.m., colliding with the victim’s 2012 Toyota Camry, which was headed south, the State Patrol said.
Lehrer, of Owatonna, sustained an injury that wasn’t considered life-threatening.
