Sandy Lastine, 61, of Minneapolis and formerly of LeRoy, Minnesota, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Providence Place in Minneapolis.

Sandra Kay Lastine was born Feb. 6, 1954, in Austin, Minnesota, to Joy and Veronica (Bissen) Lastine. She attended and graduated from LeRoy Ostrander High School in 1972 and worked for Hanson Tire in LeRoy and L.P.C. in LeRoy. She later moved to Minneapolis where she resided until the time of her death. Sandy enjoyed playing cards and listening to music and was a member of the LeRoy Saddle Club.

She is survived by her brother Dennis Lastine of Eagen, Minnesota, and her sister Sharon (Ronald) Rich of LeRoy, Minnesota; three nephews, three nieces; and her former sister-in-law and friend Anna Lastine of Eagen.

A memorial mass for Sandy Lastine will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in LeRoy, Minnesota, with Father Marreddy Pothireddy officiating. Burial will take place in the LeRoy Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church on Saturday.
