Unity Chapter No. 29 Order of the Eastern Star members recently presented a donation to the Mower County Humane Society, accepted by staff member Annette Mueller, center. Unity members present are, from left, Betty Rabine, Kathy Foster, Neil Hanson, Mary Hanson, Mueller, Worthy Matron and Patron Betty and Otto Volkert, a cat needing a home, and Brad Stout. Members were given a guided tour of the new facility, which was greatly appreciated. The Chapter will apply for a matching grant from Minnesota Masonic Charities, giving the two-legged donation a four-legged boost.
