A Blooming Prairie man suffered non life-threatening injuries in a car accident Wednesday afternoon at Highway 218 near County Road 2.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports an Austin woman driving a 1999 Dodge Caravan was making a left turn and the BP man veered his 1997 Ford Ranger off the road to avoid a collision. The truck came to a stop in the ditch.

The man went to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin as a precaution.
