The Austin girls golf team continued to make big strides as it improved its score again Thursday.

The Packers scored a 395 at the Red Wing Invite and that score was a 35-stroke improvement from what Austin shot at Red Wing seven days ago.

The Packers had shot a 500 in their first outing of the season.

“We’ve improved quite a bit from the first meet,” Austin head coach Ryan Wiechmann said. “I think everybody’s starting to apply what they’re learning. It’s kind of nice to see them enjoy some success.”
