The Austin softball team suffered its most lop-sided defeat of the season when it lost 16-1 in five innings to Mankato East (8-4 overall, 6-2 Big Nine) in Todd Park Monday.

Freshman Hannah Rasmussen pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the Packers (5-11 overall, 2-9 Big Nine) and Jaidyn Bastian had an RBI single in the third inning.
