MINNEAPOLIS — Police say the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in Minneapolis was apparently an accident.

Authorities say Brandon Wren was shot by a younger male relative on Sunday about 11 p.m. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office says Wren died of a gunshot wound to the neck. KMSP-TV reports the death is classified as a homicide, but police say the shooting was accidental.
