The Hayfield boys golf team finished in second place on the first day of the Section 1A meet at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester Wednesday.

The Vikings put up a score of 331 and Fillmore Central leads the 12-team field with a team score of 323. Hayfield’s Brady Becker is fourth overall with a 78 and Aaron Anderson is eighth with a score of 83.

Blooming Prairie’s Tommy Braaten is third with a score of 77.

In the girls meet, BP’s Taylor Christianson is second with an 89.
