The Austin track and field will have just one state qualifier this year as none of the Packers were able to finish in the top two of their event at the Section 1AA meet in Lakeville Saturday.

Austin sophomore Jany Gash qualified for state in the triple jump on Thursday.

On Saturday, Austin junior Rachel Quandt re-set her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.22 seconds, but she ended up .08 of a second from the state cut time and she took third.
