WEST ST. PAUL — A fire official says two bald eagles tussled in a tree in the front yard of a Minnesota home before firefighters arrived to break it up.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports a homeowner in West St. Paul contacted the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources when she saw the eagles fighting around 6 a.m. Wednesday. The agency then called the South Metro Fire Department.
Noack says the eagles let go of each other when a firefighter and two agency officers went up in a bucket and were 20 feet away.
