Austin Blue Sox downed by Minneapolis Cobras

The clock went well past midnight, but the Blue Sox kept playing as they lost 4-1 to the Minneapolis Cobras in the SpamTown Challenge in Marcusen Park Friday night.
The game began at midnight and it didn’t finish until 2 a.m.
The Cobras had just four hits but two of them were doubles and one was a home run. Minneapolis took the lead for good with a pair of unearned runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Austin (5-3 overall) got on the board in the bottom of the first when Lukas Anderson doubled and Mirangelo Muller followed with an RBI double. The Blue Sox had just three his over the next six innings.
