Semi driver cited after colliding with van

A few passengers were treated for minor injuries after a semi and a van collided Thursday near Johnsburg.
According to Austin Police Capt. Dave McKichan, the semi collided with a van around 1 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 6.
The adult male semi driver, who was driving east on County Road 6, was cited for failing to make a complete stop at stop sign.
Two adults and three minors were in the van, which was headed north on County Road 7 at the time of the crash.
A couple of passengers in the van were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The semi-truck was cleared by the state patrol and allowed to leave. The van had some damage and a broken window.
