Water aerobics still available

We are offering water aerobics, which runs from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. through Aug. 20 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If this is something you would like to try you can drop in for $5. You may sign up when you get to the pool.
The week of the Mower County Fair our open swim pool hours at the Municipal Pool will change to the following: 1 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 10; 1 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 11 through Aug. 15 open and Sunday remains the same at 2 to 7 p.m. Daily admission is $3 per person, ages 2 and under are free.
T-Ball
T-Ball players, don’t forget you have one more night to play at the North Todd Park Complex on Tuesday.
Nature Center
Don’t miss Amber Dolphin & the Pecatonica String Quartet.
They will perform three free programs starting at 10:30 a.m. on July 31 for seniors, 1 p.m. for a family and children’s concert and the open evening concert will be at 7 p.m. Please RSVP by July 30 even though this is free so they know how many to expect but please don’t let that stop you from coming.
Al Batt will do a free summer senior special at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 6.

Car show
Coming up on Aug. 15 the River Rats Car Club present the Veteran’s Memorial Car Show in Lafayette Park on Main Street South. Show proceeds will be donated to the Austin Area Foundation to help support our local veterans to get their names on the veteran memorial wall or paver.
There will be a 21 gun salute to open and close the show which lasts from 1 to 4 p.m. Other items will include a silent auction, children’s games, bounce house, climbing wall provided by the National Guard and live music. Food and refreshments will also be available.
