Two former Frankford Township residents face fifth-degree drug manufacturing charges after law enforcement found a marijuana growing operation in the basement where they live.
Terry Stackhouse, 28, and Amy Johnson, 29, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mower County District Court.
According to a court complaint, a tipster notified area police about a grow operation in the basement of a home at the 22500 bock of 795th Avenue in Frankford Township, where the couple lived with their 1-year-old.
Police raided the house on July 23 and found 56 marijuana plants, along with other equipment used to grow marijuana. Officers also found a marijuana pipe, a digital scale, and a bag of marijuana, among other things.
