Fill the Boot set for this week

Austin firefighters hope to once again fill their boots with money for a good cause.
The annual Fill the Boot campaign will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday to Friday.
Volunteers will be stationed at Fourth Street and 10th Avenue Northwest, Eighth Avenue and 14th Street Northwest, Oakland Avenue and First Street Northeast, and Eighth Avenue and Eighth Street Northeast.
Firefighters raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s programs, which includes sending children affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases to a weeklong, barrier-free MDA summer camp at Camp True Friends in Maple Lake, Minnesota.

Firefighters raised more than $18,000 last year.
