Mayo to host bereavement camp for children Sept. 26

Mayo Clinic Health System’s Hospice in Albert Lea will host a bereavement camp for children Sept. 26.
The camp, Helping Hearts Heal, is for children grades kindergarten through 12th grade who have experienced the death of a loved one. The activities will help participants understand their feelings and show them they are not alone in their grief.
Helping Hearts Heal activities planned so far include: fun and games, memory activities, a group discussion, a climbing wall, art activities, and an ice cream social.
The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Brookside Education Center, 211 W. Richway Dr., Albert Lea. For more information or registration materials call the Hospice Office at 507-377-6393. Registrations are due Sept. 11.
