SUPERIOR, Wis. — The driver of a motorcycle was killed and a passenger was injured in a collision with a cow on a rural road in northwestern Wisconsin.

The State Patrol says 51-year-old Daniel Russell, of Foxboro, suffered severe head and internal injuries in the crash Sunday near Superior. Russell and 52-year-old Sandra Carlson, of Superior, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Russell later died of his injuries.
