A retirement party of Robert (Bob) Kvam will be celebrated from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 and the Austin American Legion Post 91 (809 12th Street SW).

Kvam is retiring from the Mower County Sheriff’s Department after 36 years on the force.
