DC Drifters to play at barn dance in Owatonna Saturday

OWATONNA — The Steele County Free Fair Old-Time Barn Dance will be held on Saturday, September 19 beginning at 2 p.m. in the Allan R. Radel Family Pavilion of the fairgrounds.
There will be entertainment during the afternoon and evening with a pork burger supper held from 3 p.m. until close.
There will also be a live auction featuring items such as a grill from Cabela’s, a Toro lawn mower from Manke’s, packages from the Holiday Inn & Serengeti Water Park (valued at $500), Country Inn & Suites package, crafted flower containers from Wengers, lower level Minnesota Wild tickets and many more.
The Steele Steppers Square Dancers will kick things off at 2 p.m. with the Dan Stursa Band following at 4 p.m., the DC Drifters at 5:30 p.m. and Chris Brooks and the Silver City Boys at 8 p.m.
Admission is free to everyone and proceeds will go to the SCFF building fund.
