Mayo welcomes new doctors

Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and Austin recently welcomed Muyiwa Bolonduro, M.D., Heidi Gaston, D.O. to the OB-GYN department on the Austin campus and provider Jessica Schoen, M.D., to the Emergency Medicine Department on Albert Lea and Austin campuses.
Dr. Bolonduro received his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He recently completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University/Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He has a special interest in providing preventive health education, general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery and fertility.
Dr. Gaston received her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and she recently completed a residency in OB-GYN at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She has a special interest in adolescent health, general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, contraception management, uterine fibroids, menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding) and providing preventive health education.
Gaston grew up in Glenville, Minnesota, and is a 2003 graduate of Glenville High School.

Dr. Schoen received her medical degree from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine in Irvine, completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, and completed a fellowship in Medical Simulation at the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center/Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
